EVENTFUL AND RYAN SEACREST PRODUCTIONS FORM MARKETING AND TECHNOLOGY ALLIANCE
Ryan Seacrest Joins Eventful’s Board of Advisors
SAN DIEGO, CA and LOS ANGELES, CA –November 11, 2009 –Eventful, Inc. and Ryan Seacrest Productions today announced a strategic marketing and technology alliance. The strategic alliance brings together Seacrest, the American Idol host and producer of the most popular syndicated radio show in the country with Eventful, the leading digital service connecting fans with entertainment and local events.
As part of the alliance, Seacrest will produce entertainment content and marketing programs leveraging Eventful’s proprietary technologies including the company's robust email technology platform and Eventful’s unique “Demand it!” service which will empower Seacrest’s viewers and listeners to engage and vote on programming topics, “Demand” their favorite celebrities and participate in contests and promotions for entertainment and live events. The alliance is at the forefront of a movement in which performers and entertainment properties partner with leading social media companies to combine unique and engaging content with the latest technology platforms in order to reach and engage consumers.
To begin their new alliance, Ryan Seacrest and Eventful are announcing the launch of the 'Ryan Rock My Town' contest through Eventful's Demand it! service which allows fans to demand a free concert in their city featuring Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta. The city with the most Demanders will win the concert and participants will be eligible to receive the free tickets. Fans can demand the concert online by going to RyanSeacrest.com. The winning city will be announced January 8, 2010 on Ryan's nationally syndicated radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and on KIIS FM in Los Angeles. The announcement will also be posted on RyanSeacrest.com immediately following the broadcast.
