San Diego – April 19, 2012 – Eventful Inc., the leading digital media company connecting consumers with live entertainment, movies, and local events, and Sundance Channel are launching an digital social media campaign to bring sneak previews of the upcoming, unscripted television series “Push Girls” to three cities next month. The series, which premieres June 5th, is intended to shatter viewer expectations about life in a wheelchair.
“Push Girls” follows the exploits of four sexy, ambitious real-world women in Hollywood who don’t let the fact they’re paralyzed from the neck or waist down hold them back. These saucy women, Angela, Tiphany, Mia and Auti, are shown forging ahead in the work and dating world while pursuing dreams such as advancing in their careers and starting a family.
Eventful is powering the social media campaign with their unique Demand it! service which gives consumers the opportunity to get their city in the top three. The top three cities receiving the most Demands will host a free screening of the show at a local movie theater before the series premiere. Additionally, all participants will be entered to win a three-day, two-night trip for two to the series premiere party and a “Push Girls” VIP gift bag including an eReader and other accessories. Two runners up voters will also receive gift bags.
