Digital Rodeo and Eventful Present “The Next Country Star.” One Top Five Finalist Will Win a VIP Nashville Experience, a New Website with Merch Store and a Trip to the 2012 CMA Awards for Two

San Diego, Calif.- Sept. 21, 2012- Starting today, country music fans can vote for their favorite top five finalist in The Next Country Music Star competition. Digital Rodeo, country music’s one-stop shop and Eventful, Inc., the leading digital service connecting consumers with entertainment and local events, launched this competition in mid-August and will announce the winner Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Encourage country music fans to visit Eventful and “Demand” their favorite finalist by Oct. 1. The top five finalists are:

3. Landon Parker

4. Rae Solomon

5. Richie Scholl

The candidate with the most Demands will win this amazing prize package:

• Trip to Nashville, Tenn. including airfare and five night hotel accommodations.

• Record three singles at 16 Ton Studio located on Nashville’s famous Music Row.

• A customized website including a merchandise store by Music City Networks and Merchmo.

• Country Music Association (CMA) prize package:

o VIP tickets for two to the 2012 CMA Awards live in Nashville, Tenn. on Nov.1.

o Tickets to attend the taping of ABC-TV’s “CMA Country Christmas” on Nov. 3.

o CMA Prize Package of assorted merchandise and materials.

Fans can also spread the word virally across Facebook and Twitter throughout the finals and invite friends to “Demand” their favorite artist or group as well. Eventful and Digital Rodeo will announce the Country Star winner on Oct. 3.
