San Diego, Calif., July 10, 2008 – Eventful, Inc. (eventful.com), a leading Web service for finding local events around the world, today announced the release of a native application for iPhone and iPod touch, which will be available beginning today from the new Apple App Store. The application, Eventful for iPhone, makes it easier than ever for iPhone users to find interesting things to do in their local communities and share them with their friends.

“With the rise of the mobile internet, people are looking for new, more powerful ways to plan their social lives and connect with friends while they’re on the go,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO, Eventful. “Through its vast event-search capabilities and extensive integration with the iPhone, Eventful answers that need by enabling users to find things to do and friends to do them with at any time, in any place.”

Eventful for iPhone provides access to all of the key functions of the Eventful Web site through an easy-to-use interface. Users can search for events, see what’s happening at their favorite venues, find tour schedules for their favorite performers, buy tickets for events and see what their friends are interested in doing. With the touch of a button, they can also participate in Eventful Demand, a free service that enables fans to influence the tour schedules of their favorite performers.

Eventful’s application automatically tailors search results and recommendations to the user’s location. It integrates seamlessly with the iPhone’s built-in applications, so users can view event venues on the Map application and copy events from the Eventful Calendar to the Calendar application on the iPhone, then sync with their desktop calendaring software.

The application has five navigational sections that users can access at any time:

Search: Find events, venues, performers, or users. Toggle between your saved location or your current whereabouts to search for local events and venues.

Featured Pages: Get instant recommendations on local events, venues, and performers based on your interests and location.

Track: Track all the events in your watch list, see what’s on your friends’ watch lists and view an up-to-date list of all upcoming events at your favorite venues and by your favorite performers.

Demand: Demand your favorite performers to come to your city and see which performers are most in demand throughout the world and in your location. You can also view your current list of demands and see all of the demands that your friends have joined but you haven’t (yet!).

Profile: View and edit your Eventful profile, including your list of friends, favorite performers and favorite venues; view others’ profiles, including their favorites, comments and more.

SAN DIEGO, June 25 -- Eventful (http://eventful.com), the leading global events Web site, has joined forces with multi-platinum, Interscope rock band The All-American Rejects to route their next tour and encourage voter registration through Rock the Vote, an organization dedicated to building political power for young people. The All-American Rejects, who won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Group Video for "Move Along," are currently in the studio recording the follow up to their multi-platinum sophomore CD, Move Along, and turning to their fans to decide where to tour. Through Eventful's Demand service, The All-American Rejects have launched a nationwide competition in which the top five cities win a concert.

Eventful Demand enables fans to influence where their favorite artists perform by creating grassroots campaigns to "Demand" the artists to come to their town. Thousands of artists, comedians and even politicians are using Eventful Demand to connect with their fans and empower them to help shape their tour. Eventful Demand is quickly becoming a phenomenon in the music and entertainment industry.

"We get tons of requests to play in cities all over the world, and since we can't make it everywhere, we're really excited to be able to let our fans decide where to go. A great bonus is to be able to spread the message about how important it is to get involved and register to vote in the upcoming election. We're excited to be working with Eventful and Rock the Vote on this unique competition," said The All-American Rejects.

"We are encouraging fans to register to vote at the same time they are voting for The All-American Rejects to play in their city. Connecting voter registration to pop culture and music is core to Rock the Vote's mission to engage young people across the country who are demanding to be heard in this historic election," said Heather Smith, Executive Director, Rock the Vote.

Launched June 24th, The All-American Rejects Demand competition will continue through 2:00 p.m. PT, September 15, on Eventful. The winning cities will be announced on September 15.

"It's an honor to work with Rock the Vote and The All-American Rejects to promote voter registration and broader youth engagement in the political process," said Jordan Glazier, CEO of Eventful. "We're excited to help The All-American Rejects give their fans the power to shape their tour."

Along with MySpace, YouTube, and iTunes, Eventful is quickly becoming an essential part of the online marketing toolkit for performers and artists, empowering fans to influence the touring decisions of their favorite performers and enabling performers to make the best decisions about where to tour.

Fans can log on to http://eventful.com/allamericanrejects, http://www.myspace.com/allamericanrejects, and http://www.rockthevote.com to register to vote and join the competition to Demand a performance from The All-American Rejects.

SAN DIEGO, Calif., June 23, 2008 – Eventful, Inc. (eventful.com), the leading global events Web site, today announced congressional, state and local candidates are enhancing their online outreach to supporters and voters by integrating Eventful’s innovative online tools and event widgets into their Web strategies.

As congressional, state and local campaigns begin heating up for November, Eventful’s “post once, publish everywhere” philosophy allows candidates to virally promote their campaign activities throughout the Web and engage in Eventful’s unique Demand service. Using Demand, supporters can petition to see their favorite candidates in their hometown on multiple social networking platforms, including Facebook and MySpace.

Both Republican and Democratic campaigns have engaged in unique ways during this campaign cycle. Republican house candidates Chris Lien and Thelma Drake have integrated Eventful’s custom widgets into their official campaign Web sites, alerting supporters of upcoming events and allowing them to share, promote and publish them throughout the Web using Eventful’s viral technology.
“Eventful enables our clients to publish campaign events on our own Web sites and promotes them to the Eventful community,” said Brian Lyle, Partner at iWeb strategies, a consultant for both campaigns. “The great thing is, the events aren’t limited to the community but can also be discovered by supporters throughout the Web.”

Democratic Senators Barbara Boxer and Tom Harkin have also integrated Eventful’s services into their online strategies. Senator Boxer has incorporated Eventful Demand into her “Web 2.0 Widgets” gallery, allowing her California supporters to learn about grassroots events with Barbara Boxer in their area. Senator Harkin has integrated event widgets into both his Web site and MySpace page, where users can discover local campaign events wherever they interact with the campaign.

“Eventful has become an influential part of the 2008 election cycle working with presidential candidates, including Barack Obama and John McCain, to empower hundreds of thousands of voters to determine campaign appearances,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO of Eventful. “We’re helping candidates translate online passion into real world action in support of their campaigns.”

Eventful Demand is a free online service that empowers supporters to lobby for political figures to come and speak in their local town. Using Eventful, candidates can track where they are most in Demand, schedule appearances based on this data and communicate directly with the supporters who Demand them. Eventful Demand has transformed the way audiences interact with public figures and performers, empowering them to directly influence where events take place. Eventful’s viral tools make it easy for campaigns and supporters to spread the word by including links and widgets in blogs, MySpace pages, Facebook groups and other social networking sites.

Eventful’s ‘My Top Artists’ Application Brings Enhanced Interaction with Musicians and Performers to the World's Largest Social Network

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. —April 9, 2008— Eventful (www.eventful.com), the leading global events Web site, today announced that it has launched ‘My Top Artists’ on MySpace (www.myspace.com/mytopartistsapp), the world’s most popular social network. Eventful’s ‘My Top Artists’ application enables MySpace users to select and display their favorite performers on their profile page and automatically displays all of the upcoming events by these artists in their city. This means fans can easily keep track of local gigs by their favorite performers. Empowered by MySpace’s newly announced Developer Platform (developer.myspace.com), Eventful was able to easily build, test, and ultimately deploy ‘My Top Artists.’

‘My Top Artists’ gives users the ease and flexibility to share their favorite bands, singer-songwriters, comedians, and other performers with their friends and keep track of when they’re coming to town.

The ‘My Top Artists’ application also integrates Eventful’s popular ‘Demand’ service, which enables fans to influence where their favorite performers appear for live events. Eventful’s Demand application is already extremely popular among musicians, comedians and politicians on MySpace, with more than 40,000 performers using it to empower millions of their fans to influence where they tour, including Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Jim Gaffigan and even political candidates like Sens. Barack Obama, John McCain and Hillary Clinton.

MySpace first introduced their Developer Platform site on February 5, 2008, beginning a one-month application development period allowing companies, including Eventful, time to build and test their applications in a secure environment before going live to the MySpace community.

On March 13, 2008, MySpace launched the public beta of the Application Gallery (http://apps.myspace.com), enabling broader testing of approved applications by allowing public installation. MySpace members can now discover and add new applications from a variety of categories, including ‘My Top Artists’ to both their home and profile pages.

“Bringing ‘My Top Artists’ to MySpace means music fans can easily showcase their favorite performers and they will never miss a show again,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO of Eventful. “Our Eventful Demand application is widely used by artists to show fans that they have a voice in where they plan tours. The new ‘My Top Artists’ application is a way for MySpace users to reciprocate and demonstrate to performers, along with the rest of their community, that they are dedicated fans who would really want to see them live.”

As with all MySpace Developer Platform applications, Eventful will be able to safely access publically available profile information including a user’s friend list, interests, photos & albums, video, as well as status & mood. ‘My Top Artists’ will have real estate in five places within MySpace including:

Data Indicates Obama Campaign Most Successful in Engaging Young Voters Online

San Diego, Calif. – March 3, 2008 - Eventful, the leading global events Web site, today released its latest data revealing insights into candidates’ success in courting young voters through online social media.

Eventful’s data suggests that among the Democrats, Sen. Barack Obama has achieved more successful online outreach to young voters compared with Sen. Hillary Clinton. In both Ohio and Texas, Obama is in higher demand by supporters for live appearances. In Ohio, Obama leads with 3,054 people demanding a live appearance, and Clinton has 1,149. In Texas, Obama has 6,239 people demanding him, while Clinton has 1,862. Nationally, Obama has 76,652 people demanding him compared to 17,860 for Clinton.

Eventful’s data is consistent with data available at MySpace, which displays that Obama has 305,168 ‘friends’ relative to 186,783 for Clinton.

The primaries have seen higher than average turnout among young voters. The campaigns and political experts have attributed the youth voter participation, in part, to successful use of websites such as Eventful, MySpace, Facebook and YouTube to engage young voters.

Among Web sites that are useful for engaging with young voters, Eventful is unique in its focus on translating online passion into real world activity. For example, Eventful provides the campaign teams with data and demographics of their supporters as well as the ability to communicate by email with supporters at a targeted, local level. Eventful’s Demand service gives voters the ability to influence where candidates appear on the campaign trail. The resulting data provides a valuable leading indicator of the preferences of the young voters using Eventful’s service.

“Throughout the primaries almost all of the candidates have used Eventful’s Demand service as a way to engage young audiences and get out the youth vote,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO at Eventful. “As technology and the Internet evolve, it enables a two-way dialogue between candidates and voters as well as a vehicle for empowering young voters to influence the political process.”

About Eventful Demand

Clinton Leads Among Female Voters, Obama and McCain Lead Among Young Voters

SAN DIEGO--With ‘Super Tuesday’ contests around the corner, Eventful, the leading global events Web site, has today revealed key demographic trends related to youth and female support for the leading candidates, based on data from Eventful’s ‘Demand’ service.

With tight races throughout the ‘Super Tuesday’ states, Eventful reports that the campaigns are aggressively using online communities to reach young supporters and turn out every last vote through sites such as Eventful, MySpace and Facebook. Eventful’s tools have the advantage of enabling geographically targeted outreach to highly influential, ardent supporters at the local level.

Eventful also reports a surge in Demands for several of the top remaining candidates, based on the towns and cities that Eventful users want them to visit on the campaign trail. Several leading presidential candidates are using Eventful’s online tools to achieve grass-roots participation by supporters in local campaign events throughout the country.

In California, where polls show Sen. Hillary Clinton ahead of Sen. Barack Obama, Obama has more than 8,500 supporters using Eventful to demand an appearance by him in their town, far out-pacing Clinton (1,908). This disparity is mirrored throughout other states, including Illinois, Obama’s home state and a projected win for the Senator, and more tightly contested states such as Missouri. However, while Obama has been the most demanded performer on Eventful for most of January, Clinton appears to be gaining ground, moving on to Eventful’s hottest list of ‘Demands’ in recent weeks.

Of the remaining top Republican contenders, Mike Huckabee has more Demands in nearly all states than Sen. John McCain and Mitt Romney. While Huckabee dominates Demands in the southern ‘Super Tuesday’ states, John McCain supporter numbers are much closer in the Northeast.

Several of the remaining candidates, including Obama and Huckabee, have been using their large supporter base and Eventful’s email contact system to increase turnout and awareness for campaign appearances in the lead-up to Tuesday’s contest.

“The Internet is proving to be a powerful tool for candidates to engage young voters in the political process,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO at Eventful. “We’re really pleased that voters and the campaigns are discovering Eventful as an integral part of their grass-roots organization.”

Eventful’s unique ability to collect demographic information, such as location, age and gender, reveals interesting trends in the race for the Democratic nomination since the start of primary season.

Over 60% of Obama’s demanders are in the young voter block of 18-25 years old, with an average age of 26.7 years. These statistics reflect exit polls in early primary states, where Obama has dominated the youth vote, and were a major contributory factor in his Iowa victory. According to Eventful’s data however, Clinton appears to do well with youth voters as well, with an average Eventful Demander age of 29 years old and nearly 40% of her demanders between 18-25 years old.

Another major voting block, and a contributor to Clinton’s victory in New Hampshire, is the female vote. Both Obama and Clinton have targeted these groups heavily. Hillary appears to have broad appeal among women on the Internet, with over 70% of her demanders being female. However, Obama appears to be making strides in this area, where over 60% of his 13,000 demanders since the start of the primary season are female. This parallels a closing gap among the female voter block after the South Carolina primary, where Clinton and Obama nearly split the vote.

Among the major Republican candidates, the gender support on Eventful is split fairly evenly, while Huckabee skews much older than his competitors with an average demander age of 35.6, compared to 30.5 for Romney and 27.1 for McCain.

Eventful Demand is a free online service that empowers supporters to lobby for political figures to come and speak in their local town. Using Eventful, candidates can track where they are most in Demand, schedule appearances based on this data and also communicate directly with the Demanders via email.
Movie-goers get the power to influence where Skid Row will be shown and win a special appearance by producer and star, Pras Michel

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- January 24, 2008 – Pras Michel, former member of legendary Hip Hop group, The Fugees, Indie Rights, and Eventful, Inc., announced today that fans across the country will use Eventful’s Demand service to decide which cities will receive a screening and special appearance by Pras of the powerful documentary, Skid Row, produced by and starring Pras. In this astonishing film, Pras exchanged the comforts of his posh digs for an earthier experience on the streets of Los Angeles in hopes of exposing one of the most forgotten problems in America – homelessness.

To further create awareness of the issue-based documentary, the hip hop artist will use Eventful Demand to let thousands of movie-goers determine which five cities will receive a special appearance where he will speak about his experience filming Skid Row. In his documentary, Pras takes a look at this crisis in Los Angeles’ five-block radius of ‘Skid Row,’ by experiencing it firsthand. “I panhandled and slept on the sidewalk,” said Pras. “I had to keep warm with what I had.”

Launched on January 24, 2008, the Demand competition will continue through 2:00 pm PST, March 25, 2008, at Eventful. The winning cities will be announced on March 26.

“You'll be shocked, as I was to see what's going on in L.A. and in all our major cities. I hope it gets you to talk about it and even better, help do something about it,” Pras Michel said, encouraging fans to Demand the screening on Eventful. “It's changed my life and I hope it changes yours. It's easy to ignore someone else’s problems; to turn your head the other way, but we have brothers and sisters who have fought for our freedom that aren't being taken care of, children with no place to lay their head but the concrete."

Along with MySpace, YouTube and iTunes, Eventful is quickly becoming an essential part of the online marketing toolkit for performers and entertainment properties. Eventful is transforming the way that shows get routed by empowering fans to influence where they take place and by enabling performers to make the best decisions about where to book shows.

“We are excited to help movie-goers put their city on the screening schedule for such an impactful documentary,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO of Eventful. “We are delighted that Pras Michel is using Eventful Demand to give his fans a voice, allowing them to share his crusade to build awareness around a very real problem: homelessness in America.”

Fans can log on to http://www.eventful.com/pras, http://www.myspace.com/prasmichel and http://www.skidrowthemovie.com to join the competition and ‘Demand’ a screening of Skid Row in their city.

Skid Row is a 50 square block area in downtown Los Angeles where an average of 100,000

an issue that has plagued our country for generations. His journey is riddled with hunger,
exposure to the elements, criminals, drugs and danger. Pras learns not only how to fend for

Edwards, Huckabee, Obama and Thompson building crowds in primary states by reaching out to supporters through Eventful

San Diego, Calif. – January 17, 2008 -- With primary season in full swing, Eventful, the leading global events Web site, announced today that several leading presidential candidates are using Eventful’s online tools to achieve participation by supporters in local campaign events in South Carolina and Nevada. Eventful offers contact management tools that enable the campaigns to communicate directly with supporters in targeted local markets who have expressed interest in participating in live events through Eventful’s Demand service.

With polls showing an extremely tight race this Saturday for the Democrats in Nevada and Republicans in South Carolina, the campaigns are tapping the communities they have built on Web sites such as Eventful, MySpace and Facebook, to engage young voters and turn out every last vote. Eventful’s tools have the advantage of enabling the campaigns to target influential, ardent supporters at the local level.

In Nevada, Sen. Barack Obama has more than 500 supporters demanding an appearance in their town, far out-pacing his competition. Edwards and Obama are both using Eventful to send messages to supporters through the site’s online messaging tools, enabling the campaigns to create grass-roots support for upcoming events. Edwards recently built crowds by messaging his supporters to attend his rally in Reno, Nevada on January 16th.
In South Carolina, which is also up for grabs according to recent polls, several Republican candidates are using Eventful in unique ways to build crowds. Fred Thompson is using an Eventful calendar to post all of his events for his current bus tour on hIs Web site. Eventful’s calendar tools enable Thompson’s campaign to build awareness of his events on Thompson’s Web site, Eventful.com and at hundreds of sites that publish event calendars from Eventful.

Mike Huckabee has also used Eventful extensively in South Carolina, messaging supporters about upcoming events. “Eventful is a great way to communicate with supporters who have an expressed interest in attending campaign events,” said Chris Maiorana, an Internet consultant for the Huckabee campaign. “We find a very strong response rate from Eventful users as they’ve already ‘Demanded’ to see Mike Huckabee.”
While the Nevada and South Carolina races are tight in the polls, Eventful’s data shows Obama and Huckabee in the lead as the most demanded of the leading candidates in the two races.

The Huckabee campaign has made Eventful an integral part of its online strategy for other upcoming states as well, asking supporters to ‘Demand’ Huckabee in their town. Huckabee encouraged supporters on his campaign blog: “I want to see you on the campaign trail. We are using an online tool called Eventful to notify people ahead of time of events. I urge you to sign up today. It is free, easy to use and has been helping us build crowds at events.” After his most recent outreach to supporters for them to use Eventful, Huckabee vaulted to the top of Eventful’s most popular performers, ahead of all other GOP candidates, with more than 12,000 Demanders. Also, Huckabee is now the most ‘Demanded’ major Republican candidate in South Carolina, with more than 80 cities around the state demanding an appearance, compared to 37 cities demanding Sen. John McCain.

Eventful Demand is a free online service that empowers supporters to lobby for political figures to come and speak in their local town. Using Eventful, candidates can track where they are most in Demand, schedule appearances based on this data and also communicate directly with the Demanders via email.

“It’s rewarding to see the presidential candidates achieving voter turnout by using Eventful,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO at Eventful. “As the primaries unfold we’re seeing direct results from the candidates using online services like Eventful to secure participation by young voters.”

San Diego, Calif. – January 14, 2008 - Eventful, the leading global events web site, today released data that revealed a groundswell of online interest in Mike Huckabee, ahead of the Republican Michigan Primary on Tuesday, January 15.

While most major polls currently predict a close call between Sen. John McCain, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee, Huckabee has gathered nearly twice the amount of Eventful ‘Demand’ requests as McCain within the state of Michigan, with people in 115 places throughout the state requesting that he come speak in their city. Eventful is an online service which empowers supporters to influence where candidates appear for live events, by enabling them to start ‘Demands’ for visits to certain places.

According to data from Hitwise, Huckabee has garnered more than 30% of all Republican candidate Web site traffic since the New Hampshire primary, and according to techPresident, also has more supporters on Facebook than either McCain or Romney.

Data from Eventful’s Demand Service Shows Obama, Huckabee and McCain as Favorites

San Diego, Calif. – January 7, 2008 - Eventful, the leading global events Web site, today released its latest data revealing the most ‘Demanded’ presidential candidates within the state of New Hampshire. Among the Democrats, the data shows that Sen. Barack Obama is the most Demanded in New Hampshire by a substantial margin. Among the leading Republican candidates, Sen. John McCain and Mike Huckabee are neck-and-neck as the two most Demanded in the state.

The results from the Iowa caucus show extremely high turnout by young voters, indicating that the campaign’s online efforts to reach young voters are succeeding. Obama’s Demanders on Eventful average 26.4 years old, which is the youngest average age among the Democratic candidates. While McCain and Huckabee are close in Eventful’s New Hampshire rankings, the Demanders on Eventful for McCain are substantially younger (average age: 26.8) than the Demanders for Huckabee (average age: 33.7).

Eventful’s Demand service gives voters the ability to influence where candidates appear on the campaign trail. The resulting data provides a valuable leading indicator of the preferences of the young voters using Eventful’s service. For the Iowa caucus, Eventful’s data showed Obama and Huckabee as the clear choice for their respective parties.

Among Web sites that are useful for engaging with young voters, Eventful is unique in its focus on translating online passion into real world activity. For example, Eventful provides the campaign teams with data and demographics of their supporters as well as the ability to communicate by email with supporters at a targeted, local level.

Since the Iowa Caucus, many of the presidential candidates have received an increase in attention on the Internet, including on Eventful. In the last week, Obama, McCain, Huckabee, Sen. Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Rep. Dennis Kucinich have all been among the most Demanded people on Eventful.com. Obama has received a dramatic jump in Demands since the Iowa Caucus on January 3, 2008 with a count of more than 2,000 Eventful Demands since the caucus. This jump coincides with Obama’s rise in the polls, including the CNN/WMUR poll released today.

“We see almost all of the candidates using Eventful’s Demand service as a way to engage young audiences and get out the youth vote. Sen. Obama, Sen. McCain and Mike Huckabee have been particularly successful in engaging grass-roots supporters through Eventful, evidenced by the fact that they are the most Demanded candidates in New Hampshire,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO at Eventful. “As technology and the Internet evolve, it enables a two-way dialogue between candidates and voters as well as a vehicle for empowering young voters to influence the political process. Eventful Demand is leading this evolution, empowering voters to influence where candidates appear for events.”

The Eventful data shows that Obama is Demanded by supporters in more than 50 locations throughout New Hampshire, while McCain and Huckabee are Demanded in 28 and 32 places, respectively.

Obama and Huckabee Demanded in More Cities than Any
Other Candidates in State of Iowa

San Diego, Calif. – January 3, 2008 - Eventful, the leading global events web site, announced today that Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mike Huckabee are the most ‘Demanded’ candidates by their users in the state of Iowa, and have surged to the top of Eventful’s Hottest Demands rankings, just hours before the first votes are cast in the Iowa caucus. Both Obama and Huckabee have requests to speak in over 60 cities throughout Iowa, more than any other candidate.

In the last 24 hours, Obama has amassed 1,436 new online Demands, from supporters lobbying for his appearance in local towns around the country. This brings his total to over 47,000, far ahead of the other leading Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards. Meanwhile, Huckabee has gained a more modest 258 new people in the same period to inch ahead of fellow Republican candidates such as John McCain and Ron Paul.

The Eventful Demand data reflects the findings of The Des Moines Register’s latest poll, placing Obama and Huckabee as the winners of today’s influential caucus.

The strength of online support in Iowa and the late surge in Demands may be seen as an indicator of today’s results, could also indicate the engagement of a key demographic for winning the Iowa caucus – the youth vote.

Eventful Demand is a free online service that empowers supporters to lobby for political figures to come and speak in their local town. Using Eventful, candidates can track where they are most in demand, schedule appearances based on this data and also communicate directly with the Demanders via email.

“Since the inception of the 2008 campaign, we’ve seen our users create grass-roots campaigns on our site, to lobby for their preferred candidate to come speak in their local town,” said Jordan Glazier, CEO at Eventful. “One of the key themes of this election has to be voter empowerment, enabling people to have their say on the issues that impact them the most. The increase in Demands ahead of today’s caucus reflects this, and could well be an indicator of the result.”
