Chuck Norris - Engineering
Chuck serves as chief architect of the Eventful technology platform. He leads the engineering team in designing and building the technology foundation that makes Eventful tick. This dynamic team has been able to build an excellent technology stack that has proven its capacity to handle the challenges of scale. Simply put, Chuck and his team of incredibly talented professionals can accomplish anything it sets its mind to do.
Chuck possesses more than 20 years experience designing scalable, innovative and low-maintenance technology systems. Before arriving at Eventful, Chuck served as principle architect of the content delivery back-end for Napster, Inc. He led the team that built the content delivery system used to deliver all of Napster's music content. In addition, Chuck has held senior roles with MP3.com, Akamai and InterVU, Inc. At InterVU, he helped build the content delivery system used to deliver millions of audio and video streams. The system was designed to scale and managed growth very capably.
Born in Austin, Texas, Chuck toured the world with his military family. When it came time for college, he returned to his roots. Chuck holds a Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado.
Married with two beautiful daughters, Chuck has a passion for radio control aircraft models (mostly sailplanes) and owns more than 15 different models. When he's not flying those aircraft, he enjoys music (both playing and listening), bird watching and the great outdoors.
Holly Anderson - Marketing
Holly has over 20 years of marketing experience in public companies, high tech start-ups, and non-profit humanitarian organizations. In her role at Eventful, Holly creates, develops, and implements nationwide and global digital marketing campaigns and media outreach for Eventful's entertainment industry partners across music, comedy, motion pictures and broadcast radio & television. Holly also leads Eventful's event marketing sales channel for event promoters, artist managers, booking agents, touring shows, radio stations and destination properties. Through her team's efforts, the Eventful community has grown exponentially to over 21 million registered community members and more than 100,000 performers using Eventful's Demand it! service.
Previously, Holly worked for Southwest Airlines Co. as Area Marketing Manager for Chicago & Cleveland; IWN, Inc. as Director of Marketing; Household Credit Services as Conversion Team Marketing Manager; Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) as Development Director; and the Belly Up Tavern as Director of Marketing. While at Southwest Airlines, Holly spearheaded the successful marketing campaign, "We Always Knew They Would Form a Line to our Door".
While at CCI, Holly ran the most successful fundraising gala in the history of the organization, The Bow Wow Luau, raising $150,000 to provide highly trained assistance dogs for children and adults with disabilities. A native of Northbrook, Illinois, Holly attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and an MBA in Marketing.
Holly can almost always be found at dog beach with her golden retriever, Wrigley. An acknowledged gym rat, Holly considers her biggest personal accomplishment in training for and completing the San Diego Rock-n-Roll Marathon.
